About Me

Akhil Chandra
Nature is the world’s greatest teacher……it teaches us to tread softly on Earth. In other words we have to learn to use Earth’s resources in a manner so as to minimize our consumption, so that we can share equitably with all today and leave behind enough for tomorrow’s inheritors. For over three decades I have roamed around with my camera, clicking pictures of wild animals, birds and Nature. I work with school children and often take them for Nature Orientation Programmes in different wildlife areas. Currently I am involved in establishing Sariska Tiger Foundation with like -minded friends for safe re-introduction of tigers in Sariska. I have worked with WWF India for ten years as their Regional Director.
